Recruitment Officer Role Overview: Career Opportunity in Talent Acquisition
We are seeking a motivated, organised, and dynamic Recruitment Officer to join our team. This pivotal role focuses on attracting, sourcing, and securing high-quality candidates for our clients (local, regional, and national) to recruit apprentices across a range of funded and commercial opportunities within our chosen sectors.
As a Recruitment Officer, you will be instrumental in maintaining our high standards and supporting our mission to develop talent that makes a positive impact in the education and care sectors.
Key Responsibilities: Recruitment, Candidate Management, and Staffing Solutions
- Develop, advertise, and manage job postings using a variety of sourcing channels to attract diverse candidates.
- Screen CVs/applications and conduct pre-interview assessments to ensure candidates meet the role requirements and values of our client's organisations.
- Coordinate and conduct initial interviews with potential candidates, providing a professional and engaging candidate experience at all times.
- Liaise with our clients to understand their staffing needs and deliver tailored recruitment solutions.
- Maintain and update all internal systems accurately and efficiently.
- Support all apprentice eligibility checks.
- Book, facilitate, and attend required apprenticeship and business events
- Generate business with new & existing clients.
- Provide regular updates and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Build and nurture talent pipelines for current and future recruitment needs.
- Cross-departmental working.
- Manage business enquiries to ensure prospective learners are provided with appropriate information, advice, and guidance.
- Promote an inclusive recruitment process, championing equality, diversity, and safeguarding across all activities.
Candidate Profile: Ideal Skills and Personal Attributes for Recruitment Professionals
- Strong administration and organisational skills, including workload management techniques. Previous recruitment experience would be beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills—capable of building effective relationships and engaging with candidates from varied backgrounds.
- Organised, detail-orientated, and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, predominantly Excel, and all internal systems.
- Commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and the safeguarding of learners and staff.
- Adaptable and proactive, able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Essential Qualifications and Experience: Requirements for Recruitment Officers
- Demonstrably high level of written and spoken English.
- Good communication skills and telephone manner.

- Ability to problem solve.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Full Driving Licence.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
