Founded in 2006 by a group of Directors with significant experience in government funding and training, Professional Training Solutions has grown and developed to be a leading training provider across a range of sectors in London and the South East. We have become an ILM centre for Leadership and Management, as well as a centre with CACHE, NCFE, OCR and Qualsafe delivering a range of qualifications.
Our growth will continue! Over the next five years we have an aggressive growth plan and are scaling the business up to enable us to meet this – delivering quality is at the core of our business and to do this we need quality people.

Working alongside the delivery team, our Quality Assurers sample and monitor work to ensure we maintain quality and consistent assessments across all qualifications.
Our office-based team, including Business Support, Sales & Marketing, Operations and Human Resources, are the support function of the business and work alongside the delivery team to ensure a quality provision for our clients.
My journey with PTS started as a freelance trainee business and management assessor in 2008, and I have been fortunate to have been part of the growth here at PTS through to my appointment as Associate Director in 2019.
A large part of my role is talking with employers, local authorities, and NHS Trusts, and I feel humbled that I’m invited to play an active part of their team. I’m passionate about spreading the word of the types of Government funding employers and learners can tap into, which will support them in their next step towards sustainable jobs, career progression, and a more skilled work force. It gives me a great feeling to support learners and employers this way.
We work hard, we are agile, we put our hands up if we have done something wrong, and we are ethical. I’ve never experienced the same day twice and I love that.
My role as ESF Project Manager is to set-up and manage the London contract for the Early Years sector on behalf of the GLA; a programme that delivers Early Years training to unemployed London residents. Our role is to ensure that our participants learning experience is productive, enjoyable and above all achievable and enables them to secure sustainable employment. I am responsible for monitoring contractual performance throughout the life of the contract, and working with, and supporting, our sub-contractors to ensure they have all the necessary tools to deliver their quality training provision whilst professionally representing PTS. I also work with the GLA and other partners ensuring that PTS are able to avail themselves of any other funding opportunities that become available.
I joined PTS on 3rd February 2020. No two days are the same. I deal with a lot of trouble shooting from learners, managers, members of my delivery team and I spend a lot of time following up with processes to make sure learners are progressing correctly and are on track.
Being a Program Manager is a pivotal role of the business and I get to work with every person and area in the organisation, understanding how each one of them affects my team and our learners.
The most rewarding thing about working for PTS is seeing learners progress and achieve, overcoming challenging times and completing qualifications that they have worked so hard for, and seeing the positive impact this has on the team.
The best part about working at PTS is that everyone is so warm and welcoming. Coming into a new business 6 weeks before a national lockdown, everyone made such an effort to welcome me and make me feel a part of the team so quickly. I feel like I have been here forever.
I started working at PTS in April 2021, and I felt immediately welcomed into the company.
I have a great team, with an incredibly supportive manager, that create such a positive and upbeat atmosphere in the office. In the HR department, every day is different, and that is what can be so exciting about working here. It is really rewarding to take on a task, and then see it through to completion.
I think the best part about working at PTS is the feeling of community, knowing that we are all a team, and everything we do is helping to keep the company as a whole running smoothly!
